At Mart's Bags, the opportunities to customize products are very broad. One item, usually neglected (probably due to its small size), is... a label (or a tag). Today we're going to look at them in a little more detail to get a better idea of the variety of choice available and their importance.
Some of the most common tags in our products are tags printed directly on the bag and printed tags. What is the difference between the two? A label printed on the bag is transferred directly onto the bag material using a screen or transfer method. This is a solution for people who do not like anything sticking out of the bag. The print can be either inside or outside the bag. It is one of the best ways for a gentle and non-invasive placing of a logo or a slogan. The printed label, on the other hand, is printed on one of three types of material: satin, nylon or polyester. When choosing this method, one of the advantages is the possibility of choosing multicolour printing (depending on the method used: thermal transfer or hot stamp). It is an excellent solution if we care for a tasteful and low-cost brand label.
Another frequent choice is the jacquard label. They are woven from top quality polyester yarn, which gives them unparalleled durability. In the case of such labels, it is possible to choose the width from 5 mm to 200 mm (1/5’’ up to 8’’), thickness and finishing. If you are most interested in the solidity and resistance of a given label - jacquard is an excellent choice.
The last two types, slightly less common but also having their advantages, are artificial leather and washpapa.
The well-known artificial leather is of course an imitation of natural leather. Labels made of this material are available in many colours. Another important advantage is the possibility to engrave characters and cut out any desired shape. Decide on this material if you have a bold idea for a label - treat artificial leather as a material for special tasks. Washpapa is actually... paper that can be washed and sewn (hence the name: washable paper). It is durable and flexible due to the latex inside. It is sometimes called vegan leather because of its composition and is often chosen for zero waste products. This material can be prepared in many fashionable colours and the structure itself makes washpapa labels eye-catching and very distinctive.
This is only half of the possibilities we offer at Mart's Bags. The second part is still ahead of us! Stay in tune - because it will be a complete picture of all the tags available. You can find out more about them on our website right now - click here.
